If my case got its NOA1 on 1/20/12 and the last "touch" or update was on 2/9/12 is this normal? Should I have a date that's closer to the current date? does this mean nothing has happened to my case since 2/9/12 and its just sitting? Please enlighten me.

Don't think too much about "touches"... As I answered to you on your previous topic (with a link explaining what is a touch), touches just mean your case was moved somewhere, on another room maybe.

And yes, your case is just sitting somewhere. Be patient, and time will come when an adjudicator will look at it!

There is no "normal". Ours never got an update. Many do not. And yes, absolutely, your case is just sitting in a box and will do so until an adjudicator opens it in a few months.
