I checked on my future DIL's I129f and since last month when it said 5 months it is now saying they are on June 14, 2011 applications. Vermont Center...what gives, does anyone know. She has some medical issues and they need to get married so she is on my son's health insurance. Luckily the medical issues will not hurt her clearance exam. She was born with an anuryssem (sp) and we worry about it.

Hard to say. Though they have listed the Texas Service Center as their "Filing Location." That is incorrect, and maybe the cause of the wacky statistics. The correct filing location for all I-129F petitions is the Dallas TX lockbox location. The petitions are then sent to either the EAC (Vermont Service Center) or the WAC (California Service Center). Those are the only service centers that adjudicate I-129F petitions. Have them change to the correct filing location (EAC or WAC will be noted on their I-797c), and the stats may be more meaningful. They should also :time:

Good luck on the visa journey.

VSC shifts their work load and works on other petitions as well. This causes some to slow down in processing drastically for some months while they catch up on other petitions that they have to clear.

The service centers process MANY types of petitions not just I-129F petitions.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Her NOA stated her petition was sent to the Vermont service center. How do you request expedited, I am doing the paperwork for my son Joe and his future wifw Ruby.

The petitioner Joe must request it, a family member cannot.

Joe needs to contact USCIC via phone and request an expedite due to medical reasons of his future wife. Then he must provide doctor letters and medical proof that she is in urgent condition when the USCIS asks for it.

Thanks, I know it is actually him that has to request, I just do the paperwork and gather documents. How much faster will it speed it up. She is not urgent but she was born with the anuresm and is at high risk having had a couple TIAs already.
