I-751 May 2012 Filers

Finally, I received something in my mail today: a RFE with date 12/07/2012!!! Evidence of Good faith marriage.

- Birth Certificate: for any child(ren) born to the conditional permanent resident and the U.S.citizen spouse

-Financial Records: Submit evident joint ownership of assets and joint responsibility for liabilities.

-Residence: submit evidence of communal residence.

These are the documents that I submited first with the form I-751 back in May:

Form I 751, checks, copy of Green Card, copy of my wife's passport (us passport), list of where we resided, copies of ar11 (change of address), copy of joint tax return 2010, copy of form 1040 for 2011 (married fling joint), copy of credit cards showing both names, copy of 2 cars insurance showing both names, copy of life insurance showing me as beneficiary, copy of PG&E showing both names, copy of a trip to visit family together back in 2010, 2 affidavit letters from my wife's sister and one of our friends, pictures from different occasions with friends and family.

What was I missing? Should I send the birth certificate of my children born from my 1st marriage with my ex-wife (in mexico, so non U.S. Citizen) and they are not born from my marriage with my U.S. Wife. I have no kids here, but with my I-485 I sent their birth certificates.

I have the deed of our home that my wife put my name on it back in october, and property tax showing both names...

Should I resubmit all the information and the documents another time (including the one that I sent with the I-751) back in May?!

Do you have a joint bank account?

Find what you can, send a letter explaining the lack of joint mortgage/lease, and do not resubmit what you did already. Find new stuff.

Do you have a joint bank account?

Find what you can, send a letter explaining the lack of joint mortgage/lease, and do not resubmit what you did already. Find new stuff.

As Harpa has suggested - joint bank account statements (showing account activity) should do the trick. Also, lease/mortgage, showing the same residency. Copy of DL (state ID) for both showing the same residency.

No, my status did not change. It's still showing Initial Review!

I am sending all the documents, a big package. So that they have more than they requested. I think by tomorrow I should be sending it... :innocent: It just upsets me that with all the documents and photos that I sent they still requested more information... But, I have more information to give. So, let us hope and see! :thumbs:

got approval letter today, have to wait 60 days blah blah blah, will recieve card blah blah blah. however my approval date was not the 10th of december it was the 7th, maybe they did a job lot on that day. updating the form thingy. happy holidays

We got approved today! Received the text message and email with approval date 12/14/2012. Update below and will update again when we receive our green card. Slowly but surely the approvals are coming in. Good luck all!!
