Confused about when to file for ROC

Hello!

I am posting because I want to make 100% certain of when I am supposed to apply for Removal of Conditions for my husband.

We filed for his 2 year green card on May 20th, 2010, following our mariage on April 29th, 2010.

He received his employment authorization card on July 22/2010.

The expiration date on his green card is 11/29/2012 (they lost his medical and so our application was delayed).

So, I am pretty sure that the soonest we can apply for ROC is 09/01/12 (90 days prior to the expiration of his green card which is 11/29/2012).

Does that look right?

Looks good to me. You can file 90 days before the second anniversary of issuance of Green Card, which coincides with its expiration date. You are required to file before the expiration date.

I've already been thinking of it too. I'll be filing in October, and I've realized we don't have hardly any pictures of us together since we got married So i'll be working on getting mroe of that stuff and reading the guides etc. There should be a few people doing it around fall as well, If i remember there was a bunch of K1's that got approved around the same time also!

Tell me about it! I can't wait. no more paper, no more fees, no more having to tell them every time i move. no more worrying about going places or crossing borders. UGH i already started looking at the citizenship guide and questions. lol

i dunno why we never take pictures lol. we have a nice camera, just i dunno we always seem to forget! lol like when we out the last two anniversaries we brought it, and forgot..again! lol. we have plenty of paperwork showing comingling of finances though and hopefully i can get on the title to the houe when we close tomorrow.

Photography is a hobby of Bill's, he loves taking pictures. So when we go places, he always takes a ton of pictures, and tons of pictures of me, but i rarely get shots of him. He doesn't share the camera!

I figure I have about 3-5 years of baby-making left before I'll be too old (I'm 33).

Pictures are really secondary evidence - the continued financial co-mingling is really what counts. I don;t like having pictures taken of me so they are few and far between - it is what it is.

Thanks Arabella! How old are your girls? I'm really excited about the baby, but also completely terrified! They say that's normal, I guess. You still have some time, no rush, things can change for you pretty quickly. We seriously considered it for more than a year before we jumped in. But of course, you are an experienced mother already!
