hi visa journey! can someone explain about poverty guidelines for hawaii.. i saw the poverty guideline for hawaii on uscis website.. it's 21,762 for 125 percent for not a military duty.... now my question, is the 21,762 is what you earn for a year before taxes? or after taxes... or in other words.. gross anual income or net anual income... thank you!

It's gross income. The I-864 refers you to the gross income line on your tax return. This is about the only information that it is gross income (and not net income).
