question about vaccination/immunization

i read here that there are others like me that there is no record of immunization to present for medical becasue it was done many years ago... here in the philippines it was done in school so there is no record at all.....other says they will give shots/injection depending on age/or what is needed.

question..... can we have a shot/injection before the medical? papers are processing so at least we are ready with the record of immunization...... can this be done?

May GOD inspire you when you feel down,

encourage you when you feel like quitting, and guide you when all things become confusing.....

Yes this is true, the vaccination is given to you depending on your age bracket, medical condition and according to what your Embassy's instruction to their panel physicians on what kind of vaccination you are suppose to have. I am getting 3 vaccination. I already got one, and I am getting 2 more next week as they release the result of my medical exam.

undefinedquestion..... can we have a shot/injection before the medical? papers are processing so at least we are ready with the record of immunization...... can this be done?

I do not know if you can get your vaccination in advance, why don't you ask the US panel physician of St. Lukes?

You may want to check with the embassy. I think in some of the information we've recieved they've stressed that they don't want you to get any vaccinations with your GP before having your medical (unless of course you need them for some other reason). I'm not sure why this is, maybe so that people don't get vaccines they don't really need...anyway, I would check with the embassy. :)

The Immunizations or Vaccines generally reqd by the Immigration Panel Phsycians here in CANADA are

Tetanus Diphteria

MMR( mums, measles, rubella)

Varicella ( which is for chicken pox)

You may take these vaccines within 4 weeks prior to your medical thats what the panel told me here in Toronto.. so please call the panel Phsycian there and find out they are the best guides as they are gonna do yr medicals

road2kros - So are you saying that it's ok to go there without your vaccination records? my wife is in the same situation where finding her records will be (at best) pretty difficult. Did you have your records when you went there or no? If you don't actually need them (since the doc will just determine what you need anyways), then it sounds like there might soon be a collective sigh of relief in manila ;) ttyl,

mich

We stopped pursuit of CR-1 to pursue K3/AOS. For us, both required the same document, we could only have one valid copy, and the K3 was moving faster.
