The new IV fee is definitely $230 now. There have been a few people who have gotten the new fees this past week.

You should be getting your case number this week. If you look at the NVC spreadsheet I still have going (linked below in my sig), NVC is currently generating case numbers for NOA2 dates from mid to late March.

I'm not sure you can send the DS-3032 by email until a case number has been assigned since NVC isn't ready for intake of documents for your case. Guess you'll find out soon when you get a response back in a few days.

Are the AOS and IV packages for parents same like spouse's? I didn't read much here...

Only thing, I preparing extra is parent's marriage certificate and my birth certificate that shows their name and details.

The only difference in documents between a parent and spousal visa is that in a parent visa case, the petitioner needs to include their birth certificate (showing parents' names) as well as any marriage certificates for current and previous marriages. Well my mother is the petitioner.. and i'm taking are of all the info. I got her her back in 2010 and she knows noting about the case.. All she's required to do is Sign and date.

BTW, Our cases reached NVC building on 19th - 14 days after approval...

But no, case generation :-( How long for this? NVC operator says another 10 to 20 business days...

Any way, DS-3032 has been emailed by parents with just CIS Receipt#. Is that ok at this stage?

ya, very similar. assuming 2 parents?

1. don't pay the AOS fee bill so fast - make sure that the two casefiles are joined up at NVC (there will be 2 seperate casefile #'s) and at some point in the online payment portal, the AOS fee bill will show stuff that it's one fee for two petitions (88 total, regardless on 2 or 11)

2. need some extra stuff on the ds-230 - your birth certificate showing the parents names, and yer proof of us citizenship - even if you sent it off prior... their marriage certificate is useful, can't recall if it's needed exactly or no, but send it anyway, la .
