hi to all visajourney members i just want to ask some question and please help me asap.

i am planning to get my sticker this coming tuesday april 17. my question is: do i need to bring my cenomar and birth certificate when i get my sticker? because i already submitted to USEM when i had my interview. i dont have any BC and CENOMAR with me. please help me..

Request for a new ones. As far as my experience, they didn't ask for it. Hopefully no hassle. ;-)

Every documents you submitted must have a duplicates/copies with you. So just in case of needing them. BC & CENOMAR, you must have a multiple original copies.

02-06-2012: Received Text/Email, application received by USCIS
02-10-2012: Received mail/hard copy of I-131 (NOA)
02-15-2012: Received mails/hard copies of I-765 & I-485 (NOAs) / Mail for Biometrics Appt.
03-06-2012: Biometrics Appointment done
03-14-2012: Received mail for Interview Appt on 16th April 2012.
04-04-2012: EAD/AP approved
04-12-2012: EAD/AP card received ;-)
04-16-2012: Interview day - Approved! (waiting for GC)
04-23-2012: Welcome Letter touched
05-03-2012: GC on hand!

Requirements for Attendance to Guidance and Counseling Program

  1. Two (2) valid identification cards (IDs) with photograph;
  2. Duly completed guidance and counseling form;
  3. If married, certified true copy and photocopy of marriage contract on security paper from the National Statistics Office, or Local Civil Registry Offices; or original and photocopy of marriage contract duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy/ Consulate (if married abroad)
  4. Other documents as may be required by the counselors; and
  5. Payment of P250.00 counseling fee.

Its that "Other documents as may be required by the counselors" where people get caught. I've heard rumor of them asking for some pretty strange stuff at times. My wife had me send so many different things, I'd of had a hard time proving who I was in the USA :lol:

Along with the docuements they list they most likely will ask for

2 copies of NSO birth certificate

2 copies of CENOMAR

copy of fiance passport

copy of fiance birth certificate

copy of divorce decree from fiance

- and know your fiance's mother's maiden name.

Yes, "Other documents as may be required by the counselors" is the gotcha! Gives them the right to ask for the bizarre.

Hello sis!!! You already did your Seminar in PRISM,and you got the certificate from it,

all you just need is the STICKER thing to put in you passport from CFO...

Any VJ member who already went through this can give her a clear advice???

Sept.19 USCIS mailed a noticed they approved my Travel Docs.

Sept.20 EAD card on production(approved in 60 days!)

Sept.25 USPS pick up mail from USCIS(EAD card on the way!)

Sept.27 EAD card received.

Sept 28 went to SSOffice for name change on SSN card.

Oct 05'12 Got my new SSN card.

April 16'13 USCIS emailed Case Status:Card/Document Production.

April 20'13 Recieved mail from USCIS welcome notice.

April 22'13 USCIS email that USPS picked up mail containing my GC.

April 25'13 Green Card on hand,finally!...
