Hello,

A quick question about the ds-230 form. For questions 23 and 28 uit is asking for my wife's parents dtae of deaths. Well, both of her parents are still alive. So what should we mark them "N/A" or leave them blank? Thank you for the help.

My wife had asked the same questions by others and they suggested to put N/A. Usually the rule of thumb is to never leave any boxes or blanks empty, otherwise it is assumed that it was not completely read by the applicant. That is what a rep from the NVC told me.

On the pdf it will not allow anything other than numbers for thoes questions. I guess we will have to print out the pdf and fill them in by hand. Thank you.
