Good afernoon folks:

We just received an email alert from USCIS requesting addition evidence for the I-130 application. Granted USCIS received out application on Feb.13 so I guess this is good for timeline purposes ...but I cannot imagine what they need at the intial stage of proving our bona fide marriage. I (USC) have lived with my husband in Mexico for now over 1 year. We submitted 11 affidavits from the US and Mexico, proof of cohabitation and many photos... and everything else on the checklist in the exact order it was requested. Now that we have this email alert and the request was mailed on April 10, we will wait for the Mexican postal service and wait.. We looked on USCIS website to possibly retrieve what exactly the request is ...to no avail. Is there a place to find out what the request is without waiting for the postal delivery? We hope there is...Can't wait to let you know what we overlooked ...

Unfortunately, no. You have to wait for RFE in the mail.

Could be something simple such as not signing one of the documents, or something not readable, or the passport photos have wrong background colour...
