I have been! Feel like I'm back at school again! Have you been studying them too?

I'm not really studying. When I sent out the application I printed out the questions with detailed answers and read them couple times. When I went for biometrics the gave me the book. and I read a few times more.

But my husband was getting very excited about the citizenship test. He insisted testing me. Ok, fine heheh. Unfortunately, I failed my hub test . You know how he tested me? Those questions with multiway answers, he asked me to state them all. Ex: say One of the longest rivers in the US. He asked me to say both. Or the Native American tribes, he asked me to list all the tribes. Oh God!!!

I am not studying per se. I flip through the pages once in a while. When the day of interview gets closer, I will probably have more motivation to study "harder".

I read thru a few times since the day I mailed the application. But I'm getting lazy and just like you, I need the deadline to push me forward. I will hit the book again when I have my interview date.

hi guys! im wondering how you guys are doing EARLY BIOs ... i want to do one cause i cant afford to miss work since i dont have any time off... or atleast, go there earlier than the time im supposed to be in for my appointment... my original appointment is on june 20, 1pm... i really want to do it when the office opens... anyone went to their appointment earlier than their call time????

Just like dbear says it depends on local offices. If you live close to the office, it doesn't hurt to try. Come at early hour: before 9am. At that time they are not usually busy and more likely willing to do it for you.

I walked in my local office at 8:15am. Told officers I would like to get my bio done prior to my appointment date. The lady over there didn't really care. There was no one waiting in the office so she took me in right away. They finished my 10 fingers in 10mins or so

That is asking a bit much! I asked my husband to name 5 of the tribes yesterday and he couldn't. I'm wondering if we have to remember the exact answers in the book or if something close to that is ok? For example is it ok if I said FDR instead of (Franklin) Roosevelt?

We're still waiting to be scheduled for his interview out of the Houston Office. I looked a month prior to ours and theres 1 guy from the Houston area that had his finger prints a week after my hubbys and he too is waiting to be scheduled for his interview.

I suggested to my hubby that he get my brother or step dad to test him on the questions bcz its easier to try it in front of me bcz he's comfortable, but get someone you don't spend a lot of time around and you will get nervous about being put on the spot. So we may try that after we know the interview date. My step dad is a cop so I may ask him to test dear hubby lol

My husband doesn't know the answers to half of the questions either, it's mostly because the questions are phrased so weirdly though! I have an app for my phone too but having multiple choice makes it too easy, don't you think?

I app I have doesn't give multiple choice. You have the question and if you want to see the answer press the button. I hated the multiple choice on the USCIS site. This one makes me think more to get the answers right.

Today I got a text from USCIS saying that they have now mailed me my interview letter showing where and when I will have my interview. Oh man I'm getting excited and nervous at the same time!!!! I got sweaty palms today just thinking about it, lol.

It's confusing for sure. It's like taking the driving test all over again!

I have them written down on post-it-notes on my wall at work. When I'm not busy I'll look over and read them. I can actually picture them in my head now so Its not too hard to forget but still I know I will be a bundle of nerves come interview day.
