Form I-129f Birth Certificate question

Timeline

hi everyone, Im filling out the i-129f forms and i have a question about #10. I was born abroad to military parents. I have the Form DS-1350 Certification of Report Of Birth of a US citizen and i have the Form FS-545 Certification of Birth Abroad of a citizen of the USA...I do not have the FS-240 or a recent passport (I haven't had a passport since i was 6 and i'm 28 now)..Would what i have work or would i need to get the FS-240 or a passport??..thanks for any help...........:)

They changed the form numbers but your documents are still valid proof of citizenship. Google the forms and you'll find lots of references. Example http://travel.state.gov/passport/get/first/first_825.html

On January 3, 2011, the Department of State began issuing a new Consular Report of Birth Abroad (FS-240). You may request multiple copies of this document at any time. As of December 31, 2010 the Certificate of Report of Birth (DS-1350) is no longer issued.
All previously issued FS-240 and DS-1350 documents are still valid for proof of identity, citizenship and other legal purposes.
