I've been reading this am on RFE's, and what the RFE are requesting. Some are outrageous, why is USCIS asking for such info?

We sent in the standard, along with 55 pics of him and me and our family, a year and a half of chats BEFORE we married, and afterwards, phone bills, copies of cards and letters/envelopes we sent each other, FaceBook chats, emails, along with showing his family in on my FB friends list. Also submitted chats with his family and I, I even went as far to explain why no formal wedding, but we did have a small family reception day after marriage, and etc of another family get together.......

My husband and I are 15 months apart, Im older, not a big age difference. We are both educated and employed in good postitons. Both were married before, Im close to his family, and proved that in the petition.........

I submitted more then required for a CR-1, and if a RFE does come, I can not imagine what they could want.

I even submitted my parents death certs. and explanation that why no family of mine were there for wedding.

We have a joint savings account there, submitted that, and our life insurance on each other, along with 3 statements of friends knowing of our relationship/marriage. Since our marriage last year, I have gone to Egypt one other time to see him and our family.......

What are chances of a RFE?

If you have a problem about sharing information about your problem, maybe you should put a hold on this process at this point, because the possibilities of you getting a stokes interview at this point or a house visit later on are high ( based on the fact that you're from middle east).

NO, I dont have a problem of our petition, I was just interested in all the info I've seen of RFE listed here requested by USCIS. As for sharing, Im a straight, upfront person, If I have an issue of my petition, I would put it out there.

As for past cases since 2009, Ive just never seen so much on RFE's before posted on this site.

Just love how a person posts a innocent question, and its turned around of they have something to hide.

You sent alot of information. But with Cairo it is necessary if there are any red flags.... and even if there is none!!!

Good Luck

The chances of getting an RFE??? No one knows. Some people send everything and they still get a 4 page RFE and have to submit the same evidence they submitted with the I-130. Some people send the petition and a couple pics and APPROVED.

There is no way to predict. All yo can do is hope and pray.

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

There's no way of knowing chances of getting an RFE. You can only wait.

That being said, an RFE really isn't the end of the world, it's just a request for additional evidence, not a denial or intent to deny.

Whacha hiding, huh huh? Hee hee just teasing you!!

I know what you mean about the RFE's though. We even had one when we were at the NVC level. I had only seen just a few at the USCIS level specially since we all love to frontload our I-130 files.

I think you are just fine Ms. Belle and not have to worry about the RFE's!
