don't worry, I've been reading your wiki for a long time. My husband thinks I'm obsessed with this process, but hey - no RFE's and so far no real surprises (except that NOA2 took 6 months, wasn't planning on that one)

My husband says the same thing. I want it to be perfect! No more delays, I want him home!

Exactly! You think the husbands would be proud we spend/spent so much time on here to get through this process smoothly.

You're not kidding! And wow, it's good ONE of us obsesses over the details...the one detail I gave my husband (send the documents with original signatures and keep a full copy of everything for us), he didn't obsess properly over lol. Didn't hurt the process any apparently, but NOW I keep all papers. End of story :)

Oh he is. Sometimes he has to remind me to put all the lists and papers and worrying away. He forbid me from logging on the payment portal all weekend lol "It's the weekend dear, the invoice isn't going to be there." I've complied.. but in 12 hours it's back to stalking NVC!

He's right - I checked once, just to see. LOL :P No invoice :)

Yeah, I didn't trust my husband with the papers laughing.gif Or emailing the packages, so I did all that at NVC. It's a good thing he wasn't the beneficiary, I might not have trusted him doing the medical and interview by himself laughing.gif

Yeah, I didn't trust my husband with the papers laughing.gif Or emailing the packages, so I did all that at NVC. It's a good thing he wasn't the beneficiary, I might not have trusted him doing the medical and interview by himself laughing.gif

LOL...he doesn't send packages anymore. He gave me the account info for the money, and I have all the things for electronic documents. We tried him sending packages - and I"m SO surprised we didn't get at least two RFE's!!!! :D

Yeah, I trusted my husband with paying the two bills, but that was it (well, the original sending of the I-130 petition too, I guess).

Yeah, I'd probably go to the medical and interview too if I was the petitioner.

Sometimes NVC requests for evidence, sometimes they don't. She should still get it though. And no, I don't think the doctor MUST write her a letter. But I don't work in the medical field, so I don't know how that works.

I was more nervous for my medical than the interview, only because I'm deathly afraid of needles. And getting my first ever blood test done. Ugh. *remembers nearly passing out*

You never had a blood test before then? Oh wow. I'm jealous. I was misdiagnosed with something a few years back, and it meant three months of daily blood tests. The docs found out they were wrong and I stopped getting daily blood tests - YAY! Now I just say "aim here, that's the good spot..."

The medical is nothing. You get a check up, an xray and some blood taken. As long as you don't have some communicable disease, you'll be fine.
