I woke up this morning ready to call NVC and get a supervisor on the line regarding the false checklist for my wife's divorce certificate and this was in my email from NVC Inquiry as a reply to the email I sent yesterday:

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

We received documentation for this case. Please allow at least 20 business days for the documents to be reviewed.

IMPORTANT:

Do not let more than one year pass without contacting the NVC concerning this visa petition. If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact (by telephone, mail, or e-mail) with the NVC, all submitted fees and documents expire. If this occurs, the fees must be paid again and documents must be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

Maybe. Having a child still born didn't warrant an expedite with Vancouver when we were dealing with his K-1.

CBP rushed him through, once he explained everything to them, so he wouldn't be late for his last minute flight.

But I digress.. this isn't about me.

OK this is what the doctor's report shows :" HIGH RISK PREGNANCY" and she has many restrictions and recommendations too. They set her more than 3 appointment for this month after the one she went to yesterday and have lot of other test for this month only, i do not know for May. The doctor was also fighting to have baby open her fingers so they could see what the report from the old ultrasound where they stated baby's finger are abnormal. She opened only 2 while the doctor was using something( i do not know it s name ), then she close them again. they will make other test about that too

...if you have a copy of the doctor's report, why don't you just send that to NVC as proof of high risk pregnancy? The more details the better - that way, they can see EXACTLY what the doctor said to your wife....it's worth a shot, and then you could just finish your expedite!

What your describing sounds like round ligament pain. If it's her first baby the ligaments holding the uterus stretch and it hurts like hell. It's normal. Very painful, but normal. I had it with my first and fourth baby. (fourth baby had oligo, low amniotic fluid, and wasn't supported properly, I spent three months in hospital, on complete bed rest, hooked up to IVs. He was still born five weeks early)

I've been suffering from round ligament pain during this whole pregnancy, I haven't been able to work since early november. I'm getting really sick of just staying home taking it easy, but I am so thankful for our government giving me the chance of staying home with 80% of my salary until the baby is due.

And Rujby if this is what your wife suffers from you guys don't need to take anymore tests (at least not to get a letter) your doc should be able to put that to print straigt away.. But as long as your wife can manage to work it might not be such an emergency no

Thanks for your quick reply. I just hope Molly or whoever reviews it is able to resolve this quickly. I would really like to have case closed for my wife before they start assigning interview dates next week.

Well, at least they responded quickly and are going over it. You can still call and try to speak with a supervisor, but they may see that you got this email and tell you to wait until it's been reviewed.

It's the most awful pain in the world!! I'd take labor over round ligament pain any day! The "Take 2 Tylenol and lay on your side" ####### is just that, #######!

I did get disability insurance payments while I was in the hospital with Little Bit. It wasn't much, but it was enough to keep a roof over everyone's head and the lights on.

LOL and I thought waiting on invoices was the worst wait in the world!

At least while we wait on the Case Complete magic words and the interview schedule, I'll be busy with three weeks of exams! My last exam is the 26th. Maybe we'll hear something good by then!

I never got one.

Your email is the the standard cut and paste email when you send in EP documents.

I had to call and see when my AOS was reviewed, which was the next business day after I got the standard email.
