Hi VJers,

We received our NOA2 on Mar. 16th and now I'm preparing for the next step. I am going to use the template to email the form DS-3032 to the NVC.

Here's my question:

Should I (USC Husband) assign myself to be the agent even if I'm living in Poland with my foreign spouse? Of course, I want this process to go as quickly as possible, so would that be the best way to do it?

Thanks in advance

Have you lived in Poland for over 6 months with your spouse-as married? Is there DCF in Poland?

If so then make sure you only use Poland Address on all the forms and you will have a fast NOA2.

You don't assign yourself as the agent, the beneficiary (your foreign spouse) assigns an agent. Furthermore, the DS-3032 email is sent by the beneficiary. Finally, it will make no difference who the agent is in regards to how fast the process proceeds.

There is no USCIS field office in Poland and the OP has already received their NOA2.

Thanks for the quick responses. We're living together, so we're working on this together. My wife agrees that I should be the agent, I'm just preparing the email, then she will send it.

Finally, it will make no difference who the agent is in regards to how fast the process proceeds.

True. What I meant was if they have to send all of the paperwork overseas, would that slow down the process compared to just sending it across the country?

Unfortunately, as of about 7-8 months ago, there is no DCF in Poland. We just missed it. :(

I found this: Given the difficulties often encountered with international mail, we encourage applicants to

seek an agent with a U.S. postal address.

But then, I called the NVC and they said the best way to communicate is via email and that no

physical mail even needs to be sent, so I guess that answers my question.
