Hi girls,

Well, i was filling out the DS-156 form that the Casa consulate sent in the packet 3. And frankly, i don't understand some questions, ie i don't find the reason why they are asking some of them!! are they only for tourist visa applicants??

K3 or K1 members, plz tell me what should be answered in the following questions

#26 : How long do you intend to stay in USA??

#27 : What is the purpose of your trip?

#28 : Who will pay for your trip?

#32 : Do you intend to work in the US? #33 study??

thanks in advance for your help

Hello Najia. This is what my husband wrote:

#26 How long do you intend to stay in USA? Forever with my wife.

#27 What is the purpose of your trip? To join my wife in America and spend our lives together.

#28 Who will pay for your trip? My self and my wife

#32 Do your intend to work in USA? Yes but I do not have a job yet. Do you intend to go to school? No

I hope this helps. Good luck Najia. I will be praying for your success.

Patti

I was helping my fiance with the forms before I left Morocco and we filed this summer. I thought they were strange too. But I Just answered them honestly (with answers like the other person gave you). I guess they just have that one form that they use for all visas?

timeline doesn't matter.

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Najia, Abderrazzak answered the french one in french but he also took one in english. The lady only wanted the french one. I am sure if he hadn't taken one in english she would have asked for it. lol

hello najia

i wish you goodluck in your interview, i want to tell you don't have to worry , most women passed interview when i was at the consulate did it with success and the cnsulate called them the next day, i guess only men that get an AP/AR,

for the forms i didn't use the ones consulate sent me, cause i didn't want to fill them with handwritind so i download them from the consulate website and make sure you won't forget any question, and there are example forms in visajourney that can help you alot.

i wish you goodluck bye

hi najia

i've been worried too, but all they ask you about is your age and your husband's , how did you meet each other, where does he live , when did you have marriage , and they will ask you about wedding pics , emails and letters. they don't ask about evidence of support anymore .

i will be leaving around the first and the 3rd november inchaallah.

please feel free to ask any question
