As the situation stands in Vermont right now (I cannot comment on CSC) the "mail room" i you call it that, is more than 20 miles from the adjudicators. The VSC has been in a process of moving since late 2008 and all the adjudicators have been in Essex Jct. Vermont for sometime now. The old VSC in ST Albans is basically a receiving/sorting facility. I understand the plan is to move that at some point also. That is where your files is disassembled, put in their folder and boxed to truck it down to Essex Jct.

Your "work" never comes within 20 miles of an adjudicator.

I have not heard of anyone "annoying" them (adjudicators) What they see is identical for everyone. Now possibly the people that work in the department where they do the disassembly and re-assembly get annoyed. I have heard it is true they hate staples. The adjudicators often tell stories over lunch of the "hunny bunny" petitions. Some get pretty risque and blunt in describing their relationship, including "We began having sex on our second date..." etc.

Mostly they just process a lot of paperwork 10 hours a day, one after another identical files.

LOL "hunni bunni" for real. Thank you for the visual walk through I always wondered what the heck is up. And I am the kind of person that just has to know you know. I mean I just file March 15th and I swear I have my phone in my hand waiting for my NOA1 notice. Than maybe I can breathe than I can start looking at the clock.

I guess next post is how to stay sane. I see why relationships are so challenged. Long distance and this OMG.....hmmmm I have a post idea.smile.gif
