Hello, I have been an active member all this months, but due to this topic I've created a new account. So here it goes:

We filed a k1 application last February and my visa was issued on September, due to several things and a short split between us, I never traveled, and now my visa has expired.

We have been kinda working out things these last months, and now he wants me to go to the States again, and my question is can we file a new application?? (Same guy and girl) would there be any bumps in the road?? I'm afraid the deny me this time because I didn't use last one, maybe they would question our motives... but we are in love truly, we just have some "issues" that we preferred to solve before getting married, we have two children together as well (both Americans)

Any advise would be gladly read! :)

I have no advice to offer other than I wish you the best of luck with your refiling. Incidentally, which country are you from? If you're from a high-fraud country, I guess there might be more of a hill to climb, so to speak?

I'm sure you're not the first person to find yourself in this situation, nor will you be the last either - so think positive and I'm sure some other better informed folks will be along shortly...

I think as long as you explained the situation and were open and upfront you shouldn't have much of a problem. It will probably raise some questions, but I would definitely make sure you're both certain this time. Life tends to throw us a curve ball from time to time so I completely understand your situation (we almost let my visa expire because my fiance wasn't finding a job). All works out in the end, and if you guys are working on your relationship that's the most important part.

Best of luck!

I'm from South America, I haven't heard of no one being denied in here. So I guess is not considered a high fraud country... But is just my same fiance, not some other guy, we just got apart some time, and now we're trying to be together again :)

Many people have been denied, but not necessarily for your case. There are some countries in South America that are considered "high fraud". Which country in South America are you from?
