I just received a text msg from Christina. She said to let everyone know she is ok, but badly burned over most of her body. She is on oxygen & her husband Waleed is with her & she is out of the hospital and at her mothers house. She lost everything & is grieving over her angels (lost her 12yr old daughter & 16yr old son) She can not respond to everyone at the moment and thanks everyone for praying.

rose.gif Thanks for the updates Tamara. rose.gif My heart goes out to them.

Here is the news package I found with video on the story when it happened. link. This local station hasn't updated their website on the story at least since the day after it happened. The news article you linked had a lot of details including who and were to contact for donations.

I am so sorry for her loss of her children and her injuries, I can't imagine her pain for everything. Thank God her husband is here for her now, exactly in her time of need. This story makes me realize what a small world this is........I live 5 minutes from Lincoln, CA where her children used to go to school (before they apparently moved to Reno, according to the newspaper link). I can't stop thinking about her and the children, I pray to God to give her strength. (F)

OMG! I'm shocked!!! My condolences to Christina and her family. She must be grieving tremendously. My heart goes out to her. It's a blessing her husband came when he did. She needs all the moral support right now. I pray for them all. Such sad news to read about... :( I can't believe it.

I found a much more updated package on the fire. It was posted on the 6th and discusses the details of the fire and the memorial for the children that died: Memorial Set For Two Kids Killed in Fire

The other local station didn't have video and barely had any updates on the story even though they updated on the 7th. Here is the link. Guess they dropped the ball on the story.

Tamara, we live only about an hour or so away from Christina and Waleed, if they are still in Reno, NV (we live near Lincoln, CA). Please let them know we would like to help if they need anything, or if Waleed would like to speak to my husband Ahmed for any reason or for moral support from a fellow Egyptian. We are praying for the whole family (F)

At the moment it will be easier to reach Christina or Waleed through facebook. While she may not be able to respond to everyone that writes her at the moment, she does know that alot of people are praying for her. Im sure that since her husband is so new to the country that he will need some support & some men to talk too.
