Hello all,

Ive been doing alot of researching and reading postings on how to answer question 18: met and seen in the past 2 yrs. I have conclude no need to write a love story just simple letter. Heres my statement I have come up with.

We first met on lne in Oct 2010.We have been in communication via emails, skype and phone calls. I went to the Netherlands to meet my Fiance in person on Aug 17,2011 returned back to the U.S.A on Aug 30,2011. I spent my entire visit with my fiance in the Netherlands.

Questions

1} Do I need to add we met on a online dating site and name the site?

2)Do I need to write we are in love when we got engaged or does that letter come later?

3) Do I need to write im sending other proof 2 pics of us together, passport stamp, train tickets, etc

Any other suggestions will greatley be appreaciated.

Thank You :D

Letter sounds good. Short and simple. Your cover letter should state about pics,u don't have to tell about the dating site. Make sure u include ur letter of intent to marry from both of u with original signatures. Good luck

Good enough. I have also read where some said they just put a line and they were fine. Yours is good and it's detailed enough. Met online is also okay, there is no need adding the particular site you met at but perhaps that could be asked during the interview and I'm sure your fiance can answer that correctly. You don't need to write you are sending pics of you together and so on because all that items mentioned are accompanying what you wrote in description of having met in person within the last two years as a true declaration. Like Feli114 has said , you will need a letter of intent stating you intend to marry your fiance within 90 days of arrival in the U.S and you can find sample of how it is written on here on VJ by looking at this link: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide . Good luck
