I-134 affidavit - co-sponsor

Hello all,

We're at the very beginning of this whole process, however before we get into it we need to clear something up in order to understand whether our current situation will make a K1 fiance visa application possible!

Basically we are both in New Zealand just now on working holidays from the UK and the US. Because of this, Erin (the American one of us) does not have a US income to declare on form I-134. We have a co-sponsor with adequate income to satisfy the requirements, however we were wondering whether it would likely be acceptable at the interview stage to present an I-134 with no income from the sponsor and an I-134 with the entire requirement from a co-sponsor?

I understand that the I-134 issue may vary by the embassy at which the interview takes place. My interview would take place in London (I contacted Auckland to ask whether I could interview there while we're in New Zealand but they only accept permanent residents).

Thanks in advance for any help!

David

London will accept your joint sponsor.

(Mine didn't post either with the original question quoted)
