Yes, I think VSC's list looks much better than CSC's at the moment. I can't complain at all - especially when you consider that Igor's list only includes members of this site. There could be a lot more approvals that we don't see on any given day. Even checking numbers at USCIS only unviels slightly more of the picture. I think there are still a ton of case numbers out there that we have not discovered. It's happening everyone, and our time is coming!

That is truly exciting honey! :):):) I love you dearly and I miss you soooooooooo much, already!!!

That pdf file (list) still seems pretty far away for me unless they go through hundreds in one day lol.. and my timeline estimates early October. The ones in that list have 601 (first end numbers) mine have 681.. seems it'll take a while but mine is meant to be next month? Seems impossible!

Keep in mind they jump around drastically. There is no order... Just a crawling randomness :)

That's what I notice. They don't go out the door in the same order they came in. Our receipt date is March 2 doesn't mean that we will be approved before those who are March 8, 9 or 12.

But on the other hand they were only jumping from date to date in the first half or March right? March 12 was the furthest?

I hope so and maybe our files has already been assigned to the adjudicators. I think it really depends on the person who handle our petitions, how fast or slow they are working.

There is a pinned thread on K1 Visa that interviews a fellow VJer who used to work at the Nebraska one. He explains the process, but it's a bit old now so who knows if it's changed. He says that files come in, are stacked together and placed in boxes, which the worker grabs randomly and begins work on.

I noticed 'my' group (March 9th) has 26 in it by going through the numbers. That was a Friday. The very next number begins with March 12th, and all of those are Protected Status ones. So you can pretty much see what took priority. One of my group got an RFE on Aug. 28th, but none of the others have been changed from Initial Review. Very strange. It's like the guy grabbed the box, worked on one, then the rest is just sitting there gathering dust...

Now I just noticed VJ's estimate for VSC has climbed to 188... moving my estimated date AGAIN backwards.

I guarantee the US would have far less illegal immigrants if they fixed this process!

This is what happens when you do things the "Right" way

That's what my fiance keeps telling me.. Beause I wanted to apply for the visa and it was me who wanted to do it "the right way"... But my friend from college just went there a month ago... and she is staying. And we are struggling with our approvals. But hopefully, we will not have any problems in the future. Our relationships are real and based on love.
