Yeah come on VSC! Today I'm glued to the weather channel and my phone as I communicate and keep in touch with my honey throughout the hurricane that's presently over Jamaica. The entire island is on lock down so everything will be delayed moving forward. Keep my fellow Jamaicans in your prayer and thoughts as the storm passes.

If this keeps up with no approval for me im going have to stay off of here for a while because almost everyone for march is pretty much approved. Im being left in the dust how sad.

Have you contacted your senator, and put in a service request? Please don't go.. We are all here for you!

I started the paperwork but it says in bold that if there is a congressional inquiry pending the senators office wont help until its finished which is in two days. I did however contact the Ombudsman which takes 45 business days to process and I also scheduled an infopass appointment. I cant open a third service request until the thirty days passes for the second one. I am trying to stay positive that I will be approved before the 300 day mark but at this point this is about the last of what I can do. 247 days and counting...

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .
