Hello VJ,

I checked the Immigration website for my N400 today, and here is what it says;

On April 13, 2012, we mailed you an appointment notice to have your fingerprints taken. Please follow the instructions on the notice. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

What I don't understand is, today is April 23, 2012 and I still don't have the appointment notice. What to do now?

03/14/2012: N-400 Filing Date

03/23/2012: N-400 NOA Date

05/07/2012: Biometrics Appt Date

06/18/2012: N-400 Interview Date (Approved)

07/20/2012: Oath Ceremony Date

I would wait till the end of this week.

If you still did not receive the notice, contact the customer service.

just received this email:

Application Type: N400 , APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION

Your Case Status: Testing and Interview

Your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION is now scheduled for interview. You will receive a written notice with a time and place for your interview. You should receive this notice within 14 days. If you do not receive this notice within 14 days from April 23, 2012, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

Looks like Dallas office is moving fast. Hope I'll get a morning appointment in May!

I am starting to freak out now. I still have not seen any activities since getting a finger print notice on Mar 22nd. Just to check, I checked status of 20 cases around my number..(my NBC number +10 and -10), all but 2 (including mine) is now scheduled for interview. I can't say it is because of slow DO, because Kansas DO is sending out the interview letter to priority date after mine (e.g. Daruma07 here). I know all cases are not same and it takes its own course, but still I started to feel like my file is lost or my fingerprint was not proper (since I did EB, I am worried they may not have submitted it under my name). Just too much things going on in my mind about my n400...I really wish I see some activity before the weekend.

Relax, USCIS is known for strange behavior.

My ROC (I-751) is STILL in the works, 10-months into it's usually 6 months processing time and I'm still waiting while my N-400 has already done the bio.

Have you tried calling the FBI customer service dept?
