Seems like they do not believe that you met in person.

They want proof you were at the same spot together - so like a photo of you together near a well known place, Or a photo of you together holding a current news paper.

When I had an RFE, it was recommended by the second level customer service agent at UCIS to include everything you sent before plus more. You can never be sure if they have lost or misplaced some of your petition evidence or forms. Two of the things they asked me for I can say with 100% certainty were in the original petition, but I sent them again any ways. We had our approval within a week of them receiving my reply.

As to the passport, they want the photocopies of the entry and exit stamps in the passport used when one of you went to visit the other. You have to show you have been together in person within the last two years. The passport stamps are considered primary evidence of being together. You also want to include a copy of your information page in the passport. Without some form of primary evidence, the secondary evidence may be rejected. You need to create a complete picture showing you have met in person.

Since it is Cuba, you will not have the passport stamps - Cuba does not stamp passports. What evidence did you give them that you were in Cuba. Did you take pictures together there? Do you have your boarding passes going from the gateway city into Cuba or something like that?

I gave them lots of emails between us and yes I would say that at least some of them should be translated. (not sure about that though, ours were in English.)

Afadavit from friends and family can just be a couple of paragraphs saying how they know you and how they know you are a couple, something very basic.

Pictures together are very important, including hopefully some pictures of you with your fiance's family - do you have any of those?

Forget the emails and phone records. They're not asking for you to prove you have a relationship. They're asking for you to prove that you've physically met each other, face-to-face, sometime in the past two years. People who are in the same place together do not send emails to each other, and do not call each other on the phone. Unless you're trying to frontload your petition with relationship evidence for the consulate, stick to what they're asking for in the RFE.

You shouldn't need emails at this stage. They are only attempting to a verify that a meeting actually took place within the previous 2 years. That is all the service center does. If you don't have any emails that reference specific details from your meeting (particularly after the meeting has occurred) then don't waste time sending them. It has no effect on your petition at this time.

1/13/12 - I-129F Petition Submitted to Dallas Lockbox

they did ask about the letters that we send from each other but what i have is emails so that why im sending them

They ask about letters sent to each other where you specifically talk about meeting each other on a specific date in a specific place. Frankly, that sort of evidence is pretty much useless unless you have both primary and secondary evidence to back it up. Even then, it's evidence that's easily manufactured. They might give letters such as that a little credence if you could prove they were sent before the petition was submitted (post mark dates). You can't prove anything with an email.

I'm not saying you'll be rejected if you include the emails. I'm saying it won't make any difference one way or the other. They won't be swayed to approve based on some emails that make a reference to meeting at a particular date and time, so there's not really much point in including them. Focus on the primary and secondary evidence.

That sounds good. Make sure you also include a copy of the passport bio page - the page with your picture and other biographic information. In fact, it wouldn't hurt if you sent a copy of every page of the passport, including the covers. This will help convince them that the page with the stamps came from the same passport as the bio page. Unlike some foreign passports, US passports don't have the passport number on every page. There have been some cases where petitioners tried to use copies of pages from someone elses passport.

I agree that they are asking for proof of having physically met each other but I beg to diagrree that people who are in the same place DO NOT call or email each other. There is no way we can be with each other 24hrs of the day so how does communication take place if the need arises to contact the other person?:D
