Just to give them some time to forward my case to the embassy as my case just got completed friday( yesterday )

Oh. I thought (wrongly) that you needed the extra time to learn how casefile scheduling is done for Haiti @ NVC.

My bad.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hi All!

I'm filling out my husband's 230 and for number 32, it asks about what job he plans to do in the US. Since his English is very basic he will probably do a course at the local community college. Can I write student? Hopefully he will be able to do something part-time but at this point I'm not sure what "occupation" that will be. In brazil he works with market research, but in the beginning he's gonna have to do something that doesn't require too much English.

the DS-230 is used for ALL immigrant visa types, not just a spousal visa -

so bear that in mind when answering..

Can put 'undecided' or even 'market research' ..

Being a Student is not a job, don't answer that question 'that way'.

Good Luck !

I put something related to my husband's major, which is what we'll look for him most likely... i think its not a definite answer as most ppl don't actually know what they'll be doing...
