Trying to catch up on posts and hitting multiquote and seems like I've hit all yours sheeshkabelle!

Hubby has already started going through his stuff and pitching what he doesn't want to keep. He is not moving any furniture. I put my foot down on the 1970's living room suite he inherited from his parents basement.

But I bet he says its comfortable. Hmm maybe I've had a similar conversation with my husband.

It's because of Canada... there's been too many imported Canucks lately and they're now limiting them. They don't want to whole country putting gravy on their french fries and saying 'eh' every other sentence :P

Well you can't blame them - don't want the country to be full of foreigners

If I got every one of those for my husband for Christmas, he'd be a happy man!

3lbs of back bacon, four french toast.. and beer!

Lovely Canadian song.

Molson by far has the best commercials ever!

I about died on the beaver hunting one first time I saw it.

And the Canadian Police chase commercial.. that one is entertaining too!

Love that commercial but when we were in the US last week sent hubby an email as to what I had missed - AFLAC commercials

LOL...it's easy to forget that, Saylin is pretty incredible :D

[...]

D'aww ^_^

AOS paid, barcode sheet printed and scanned, AOS package is ready to roll!

OMG I was so excited I had a hard time putting my account numbers in lol

I made my son come in and double check the numbers before I hit submit.

Yay, grats!

And good idea about your son double checking. Wouldn't want to mix up numbers due to excitement!

Would that be a fringe benefit of being an immigration baby? :)

Most definitely yes.gif Plus, you're a fellow Canadian :P

 I have no idea what the last hour on this thread has been about.

But it sure was funny

laughing.giflaughing.giflaughing.gif We definitely go off-tangent at times in here.

Well to be honest, my wife has only been in Canada for two years and I don't think she has had that much Canadianess rub off on her. Sure she practically lives at Tim Hortons and says eh quite a lot, but so far I have noticed nothing quite like what I have seen in this thread

Maybe you will design a system that promptly invoices users to make their payments. Wouldn't that be something?

My husband isn't the biological father to my son either, and like yours he has never had a father figure in his life until I met Aaron. But those two klicked immediately.

In the beginning my son called him Aaron, then he went on to call him uncle Aaron, then it was pappa Aaron but now it's just dad. The closer they got the more my son dared to open up his heart, he's been looking for a dad all his short little life. They've been having some language barriers and still do but they got their own way of communicating it's so much fun watching them together
