It's always 2inches by 2inches for this process. Everything needs to be in US sizes as you're dealing with US immigration.

Yeah... it's easy to get confused about the separation of church and state when the government takes off Christmas! :innocent:

You can use your parent's house for your own assets? blink.gif

And yeah, if you don't get the tax transcripts in time, then the entire tax return is sufficient. But make sure you have the transcripts in time for the interview.

Ours didn't take that long no0pb.gif Last year, my husband filed his taxes (which first went to the ITIN department so I could get a number) mid-March. He got the refund sometime near the end of April, requested the transcripts immediately, and had the transcript in hand exactly one week later, just in time for my interview on May 3rd.

I hope it doesn't take too long :\ I'm thinking I'll have a May interview... I don't want to show up without that transcript. Just in case, could I bring a print out of his entire return?

It adds more time because his paperwork needs to get sent to Hawaii, then he has to send them to me. When he requested his 2010 transcript it took like two weeks :(

Yeah, I'd tell him to get on that. He'll have to do it this week or next to have any kind of chance of getting the transcripts in time for your interview. Paper processing takes awhile, especially near the tax deadline, when most people seem to submit their taxes.
