Okay, ALMOST DONE (after realizing I could send the IV packet via e-mail).

Do I need to scan a pdf version of my DS-260 confirmation page and include it in the e-mail for the IV packet?

We received our NOA2 on the 16th.

My husband is self employed, we thought that he would have to have an after taxes salary of 125% of the poverty line, is it true that they will be looking at his gross income because he is self employed? His gross income is over the amount but not his adjusted. He was going to have his tax guy make sure his 2011taxes showed his adjusted income was over the 125% even if this meant paying more. Would it look suspicious if suddenly last year he made enough, should he bother? Should we just have his parents co-sponsor?

Grats on the recent NOA2!

Which income they look at depends on which tax return was filed:

If he filed a 1040, then you provide the total income.

If he filed a 1040EZ, then you provide the adjusted gross income.

How close is he to the poverty line?

As long as the recent year (and current year) is over, it's okay. My husband was WAY below the poverty line for 2007 and 2008, and just barely over in 2009. He hadn't filed 2010 taxes, but that was over (later brought that transcript to the interview). But his current income at the time (for 2011 when we were at NVC) was almost double over the limit, so we were fine without any joint sponsors. We provided proof (employment letter and pay stubs) to show he was more than capable of sponsoring me.

The reason i asked becoz my husbands income for 2009 is maybe low.So i was worried should i send them 2009 transcript or not.But if i dont send them the transcript how would they know that what i put on the form is true?

I'm sure they have access to that kind of information if needed.

And like I said, my husband was low in 2007 and 2008, but was fine with the other years, and we had ZERO problems with our AOS.

Woohoo! Got my NOA2 today. Without causing a riot - it came through in 7 business days. Another case that proves there is a separate queue for those USC's living abroad where there is no DCF.
