I'm guilty of not reading the first two posts before asking my question. :bonk:

Well, I did read them, but it has been a few weeks now. Thanks again for your wonderful guide and your expert advice.

It's okay, at least you read them once :P I suggest going over them at least once a week, to keep the information fresh ;)

Hooray.!

My AOS and IV package was finally confirmed to have been received by the NVC today. How long do you reckon till they review and case complete?

Yay, glad you finally got confirmation! That's one of the reasons why I don't like lawyers laughing.gif

And it usually just takes a week or so to review packages. You could have your CC by next week yes.gif

Silly Trav headbonk.gif I'd suggest the passport as that's more official for a name change IMO.

Oh I'm ready!! I'm gettin' obsessive compulsive with checking our emails today LOL

Ohhh, you should have seen me back when I was at NVC. Whenever I got a notification for my Gmail (email address I used for immigration), I would freak out and my heart would beat faster. Only to find out almost every time it was spam headbonk.gif I was a little nervous twitch for quite awhile laughing.gif

Sigh. I have the marriage cert now, scanned and on my computer. I swear I made so many copies of the passport but I didn't, because somehow I missed that. SIGH. :(

Let's hope so, be nice to have entered NVC and be CC in the same month.

Then I guess it's just a case of waiting for the interview date and setting up the medical .... which by the way, my supposed lawyers tell me that we don't get involved with, that the NVC schedule interview on the 2nd Friday of the month and that the NVC sort the medical for you... seriously... I almost said.. "thats not what Saylin says!"

My advice to anyone would be to avoid paying a lawyer and contact Saylin instead :-)

Yeah, I had it coming through my IM client, and as I was on my computer all day, I'd see the little notification at the bottom right of my screen.

I got a lot of spam as well headbonk.gif Now my main email address (Hotmail) gets it as well. All those wonderful people who want to party with me and make a body part I don't have enlarged. Oh, and did I mention I get French spam as well? rofl.gif

    Is it still the Same Saylin now who is now NVC specialist?

Yes, if you can believe it. Thankfully, I'm not twitchy anymore laughing.gif Although, I expect when I get to the ROC stage, I'll be once again waiting for the NOA1, and such headbonk.gif

Sigh. I have the marriage cert now, scanned and on my computer. I swear I made so many copies of the passport but I didn't, because somehow I missed that. SIGH. :(

Well, if you have the marriage certificate scanned, just send that. That should be accepted.

blink.gifblink.gifblink.gifblink.gif Wow, is this the lawyer's first case without doing any research at all too?

As we should all know, NVC schedules interviews ALL month long. Your lawyer is close to what the operators say though (second week). Yours seems to be very specific, second Friday. Does he really think NVC can schedule EVERYONE's interview in ONE day?! There's thousands of cases at NVC headbonk.gif

And NVC has nothing to do with the medical. They have the information on their website, but that's it. They don't schedule it at all. Oi this lawyer headbonk.gif

I swear, I've not gone to law school at all, and I know better than most lawyers I see here wow.gif
