As for the wife question, I believe yes, if they're still legally married and not divorced, she'd be counted, as he would put '1' in 21c since she is technically still his spouse.

For employment, he's technically not WORKING, so, I think that would be out. IMO, I think c (retired) might be the best option, and put US Marine Corps as the company name.

Since he hasn't filed tax returns for those years, I think you might leave the entire question blank.

I put Retired Disabled Veteran USMC and the date I put when he started receiving his compensation payments.

That makes much more sense.

I have my packages scanned in the computer, except for hubby's passport bio page. His passport expires in July. He's taking the day off work tomorrow to take care of that. Now to wait on NVC to catch up to me!

USCIS STAGE: 16 days No expedite request but USC residing abroad
NVC STAGE: 19 days from case # to case complete
03/27/12: interview at Paris embassy - APPROVED
04/12/12: POE San Diego

ROC
01/15/14: sent I-751 application

05/14/14: received card production notification by e-mail, approval date 05/13

Naturalization

02/01/24: N-400 submitted online; Biometrics reuse notice received immediately online; "case being actively reviewed" after a couple hours

02/09/24: received NOA1 by mail

02/10/24: received biometrics reuse notice by mail

04/08/24: interview scheduled for 05/14. Received "We have taken an action in your case" email.

05/14/24: approved at interview, same-day oath ceremony in San Francisco 🥳 🇺🇸

 

Passport

06/10/24: application submitted at post office for passport book and card, paid for expedited processing and shipping

06/24/24: received email notification that passport was approved, then shipped with tracking number

06/25/24: passport received

- Got my opt-in acceptance

- Ordered my immunization record which should arrive within a few days (prepping for medical, aahhh)

- Got my long form birth certificate (how the hell am I supposed to scan this massive thing)

Going to call NVC about their website problems tonight.

And wow blink.gif Glad mine wasn't that large. You're probably going to have to make two scans of it: one of the top, and one of the bottom, unless you can find a scanner that scans that size...
