NVC told me that the Asuncion Consulate schedules their own interviews and the Asuncion Consulate told me that the NVC schedules the interviews

I am so ready to be done with this.

I feel that your interview is not far, do you check your portal and see how long it takes to get an interview afeter a case completed.

hi there, Ive sent my DS-3032 thru email last wednesday and today this is what ive got from the NVC... Is this the acceptance letter of my DS-3032?

No, the acceptance mail should read something like this.

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National VisaCenter (NVC).

We received/reviewed the principal applicant's DS-3032(Choice of Address and Agent) form designating an address and agent.

IMPORTANT:

Do not let more than one year pass without contacting theNVC concerning this visa petition. If a period of one year passes from the lastdate of contact (by telephone, mail, or e-mail) with the NVC, all submittedfees and documents expire. If this occurs, the fees must be paid again and documentsmust be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

Yes, unfortunately there are very few IR-1/CR-1 cases from Paraguay. The only other 2 I saw got their interview letters a week after CC, but I obviously didn't . But that was 6 months and 1 year ago so the timing could have changed significantly and 2 cases isn't enough to make an accurate trend.

I see it took them 2 days to review both your IV and AOS package, i hope they do the same for me too. my aos was sent yesterdaty ( express mail ), they guarantee NVC will receive it today at noon.

oh, #######, i put my own cover letter first on the AOS form, i figured since the Bar coded sheet is included in my own cover letter, it wouln't make chronological sense to put it after. i better not get an rfe for something that minute. grrrrr. and yes, for birth certificate, i duplicated, my bad. i will tell my hubby to sticky note the case number on all sheets...you think the bar coded thing will be an issue with AOS? would they really take the time to send an rfe for that??

No, it shouldn't be a big deal if it's the second page, just would have been better if it was the first so NVC could see it right away. I've never seen NVC send a checklist for that, for papers being in the wrong order.

Once NVC receives the DS-230 package, how long do you think it takes for 'em to close the case?

Lately it's been taking around a week to review packages, so I'm betting you'll get your CC next week, as long as there are no checklists.

I have a question in regards to this since I'm on the same boat as you, I will be receiving my wife's ITIN and signed Tax Forms this week, so I will be filing it with the IRS right away. I can just make a copy of these papers to submit with the AOS right?

Since I've in previous posts that NVC does not directly check with the IRS, they just want to see that the taxes have been submitted. So I'm thinking sending a copy of the tax forms will be sufficient enough correct?

I don't care much about receiving money from the IRS, I just want to show NVC that I have filed my taxes with my wife's name on them as well, to show more proof of our marriage.

Yes, just a copy of tax returns and such is enough. You can't send NVC the originals as those are going to the IRS. Make sure you include the entire tax return (1040, 1099 and other schedules if applicable), as well as the W7 and W2s. And then, hopefully you can get a 2011 tax transcript before the interview and bring that to replace all those tax return pages.

I heard something similar when I was waiting for an interview date. NVC would tell me they're the ones that schedule dates, but when I called up DOS, every single agent told me I had to wait for NVC to mail my case to Montreal first where it would be assigned there. D'oh

That doesn't really look like the acceptance. It usually states in the email something about the choice of agent being accepted, blah blah blah. Did you email them another time asking them something? When did you get your case number and when did you email the DS-3032?

Are the same documents required for the I-864EZ as they were for I864?

I was just plainning on sending in the 3 tax transcripts that I recieved from the IRS!! On the instructions form for the I-864Ex it just says:

The following items must be submitted with Form I-864EZ:

For ALL sponsors:

A copy of your individual Federal income tax return, including W-2s for the most recent tax year, or a statement and/or evidence describing why you were not required to file.   Also include a copy of each and every Form 1099, Schedule, and any other evidence of reported income. You may submit this information for the most recent three tax years, pay stub(s) from the most recent six months, and/or a letter from your employer if you believe any of these items will help you qualify.
