I think yer confusing I-864 for MEP casefile with DS-3032 for YOUR casefile.

Sent AOS package by E-MAIL, but in the body of the e-mail I had a typo on my petitioner date of birth.

They sent an e-mail confirming this, saying:

[big quote-y thing from NVC not displaying properly]

So, does this mean I have to resend the AOS through e-mail?

Yes. Yer in EP with a MEP casefile # - is best to resend it now before the checklist letter is generated and emailed to you asking for other silly stuff.

Hi all,

Mailed my AOS package yesterday via USPS Express Mail guaranteed delivery by 12:00 noon but I don't see the USPS track and confirm updated yet. Called NVC to find out if they received it but they said that it takes atleast 20 days for us to make a decision. Didn't tell me if they received it yet or not?

Anyone else has gone through this

They won't be able to tell you it's been received, only that it's been reviewed and a)accepted or b)you got a checklist. The only way to know it's been received is by a tracking number when you mail it.

the BIN and the AOS Fee Bill arriving in the Petitioner's Email.

I remember one guy telling me that my case was "being put into the system right as we speak!!".

I got all excited.

Then I had to wait another 2 weeks

The truth is they just don't know. The case is either ready with a case # assigned, or arrived and not yet ripe. Not much to do but take it easy.

The day the operator asks for your name and DOB and the same for your spouse, then you'll know it's THE day.

Our joint sponsor didn t include 2011 tax in the document she sends to my wife house as she has not filed her 2011 yet but she gave employment letter and 2008, 2009, 2011 tax return transcripts. We called this morning and NVC says that we will get a checklist if my joint sponsorr do not submit 2011, but my wife did. Should I rely on what tht the operator says? We mailed AOS today.

YOu should rely on the contents of the checklist letter .

Beneficiary is choosing an agent.

I Pray it's not the Petitioner.

Hopefully it'l be the Petitioner's Uncle Stefan, who has done these types of cases before, for his 11 nieces and nephews.

I dont understand why they work there if they dont understand what they are saying.
