Laying in bed, dreaming about being able to pay our AOS fee. But alas, the recurring "Runtime Error" nightmare haunts me yet.

Please to install Internet Explorer Version 8 on any machine you use to play 'whack-a-mole' back at the NVC payment portal.

Then use IE v8 on that machine.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Actually #13 is referring to the sponsor (petitioner) and #15 to the household member contributing more income (her father, I believe). Both the sponsor and the household member have to sign the I-864A, it's different from having a joint sponsor, who would sign their own I-864.

Thanks yea I noticed that on the bottom it then asked for the household member's signature which would be my father. Thanks. Poor Saylin got confused lol.

Can I make a copy of the AOS cover letter and use it as the DS230 cover letter?

Are you talking about the bar-coded cover page or your own written cover letter?

So this is what I am including with my AOS...please let me know if I am missing anything...

1. bar code page

2. I864 form

3. IRS Tax Return 2011

4. w-2 Form

5. Employment Verification Letter (the last 3 years annual salary is stated on the letter)

6. last 6 months paystubs copies

For your pay stubs, do they include a YTD (year-to-date) amount? If so, then you really only need to include the most recent one.

Besides that, looks good.

Thanks yea I noticed that on the bottom it then asked for the household member's signature which would be my father. Thanks. Poor Saylin got confused lol.

When you say copy of marriage/birth certificate, you mean original or a certified copy, right?

You also forgot the photocopy requirement: you must provide a set of photocopy of all civil documents (birth, marriage, police certs).

Is the national ID a special requirement of your embassy? Otherwise, it's unnecessary. You also need only 1 copy of the passport bio page.

the barcode cover page?

If it's the bar-coded cover sheet you're talking about, then NO, you cannot make a copy. You have to use the one from the payment portal.

and for the ds230 i have the following, let me know if its ok...

1. bar code sheet

2. cover letter

3. ds230 I (signed) & II

4. 2 2X2 passport pic of beneficiary (name and case # on back)

8. translation of mc

9. police certificate of beneficiary

10. translation of police certificate

11. 2 copy of beneficiary passport bio page

12. 2 copy of beneficiary national id

You need to include the original/certified copies of both the birth certificate and marriage certificate, not just photocopies.

And you only need to include one copy of the beneficiary's bio-data page from the passport.

And national ID is not needed.

Unfortunately, my IE is up to date. It's a garbage browser and I really wish the world would get with the times.

The website didn't work from two other computers, or two other browsers.

This is what I've been dealing with.... any technical suggestions to fix this would be helpful. I've cleared my cache, etc. Didn't do anything.

On the payment portal website, it doesn't show any of my husband's information under "Petitioner" and the box to select the fee is missing.

On the DS-261 website, the AOS shows as invoiced, but when I go to click pay...

Hey guys,

I'm waiting on my AOS fees to go through so I can send off my i-864... but I'm still stumped about which documents to send as evidence. Here's what I have available:

1. Official tax transcripts for 2010-2008

2. W2s for 2011-2008

3. Most recent paystubs (but not all of them for the last 6 months, unfortunately; one of my employers sent some to the wrong address, and I'm not sure it's worthwhile to get new ones sent)

4. Letters from my three employers, but only one of them says my salary, because I'm paid by the hour for the other two

5. My intended tax return for 2011 (not yet filed because we're still waiting on an ITIN - we'll probably end up filing for an extension)

I made enough money (over 125% of the poverty guidelines) in 2011, 2010, and almost enough in 2009. In 2008 I was a college student.

What would you guys send? Any advice?

Thank you!

I'd suggest sending in all your tax transcripts (2008-2010). Then, since you haven't filed 2011 yet, send in the tax return (1040) and your 2011 W2s (as well as any other schedules, if applicable). Don't bother sending in the W2s for 2008-2010 as everything is needed on the tax transcript.

And since pay stubs and employment letters are optional, don't worry about them not being perfect or anything. Just send in what you have. A question about your pay stubs though, do they have a YTD amount? If so, then you only need to send the most recent one, and not 6 months worth.
