I did'nt answer your question. You are totally Screwed and you did it to Yourself.

If you are denied then you can ask for a hearing and an Attorney at your side. ... You showed dis-respect for the law and USCIS will not take your side.

My thought. I hope you can show Rehabilitation documents rather then paying a fine and go on your Merry Way. That would help, but no guarantee..

I think you should talk to atty. May be you can send an update to uscis or mention in the interview when you get an interview. It is always better to be upfront and accept the facts.

Simplified stated, drugs and hookers are things the immigration guys frown upon. Nobody can predict whether your I.O. is from the bible belt, singing gospels in his Baptist church or a Cheek and Chong fan, rolling bongs himself after work. But if you want to give 'em a reason to strap you over a wooden horse and get the 10-foot pole from the room next door, you are on the right track.

There are two possible outcomes here and you'll have to decide if you want to risk losing $680 and get denied or not. If you rather like to play it safe, allow at the very least 2 years to pass between the . . . um . . . incident and your N-400.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

President Teddy Roosevelt on Columbus Day 1915

Also, if you don't disclose the conviction that is automatic grounds for denial and deportation.

Under 30grams of simple possession is the only drug charge that will not lead to you being removed. I would consult an attorney about the paraphernalia charge I think that is serious and can make a person removable.

I hope you have all your paperwork together. Chances are you will get bounced around a bit when they request this, or that document, or they may just outright deny you. Hope you have a good attorney in your corner, not one just blowing smoke up your butt just to collect his fees.

It takes a good deal of character to judge a person by his future instead of his past.

That makes no sense what so ever...
