Almost 7 months and still no NOA2

I received my NOA1 on August 2, 2011 and am still waiting on my NOA2. I called February 9 and was told that I would receive a status update in the mail by February 24. But my mail has already arrived and still no news. I called today and was told that the system was down and that they could do nothing for me. So frustrating! I don't know what to do at this point.

No- I haven't gotten a RFE. It's being processed by VSC. I know there are a couple of others in the same boat. I was hopeful when they told me on 2/9 that a status update was being sent (the wait was a killer) but now I am more discouraged than ever.

Call again next Monday, their system won't be down forever. That's a "too" long wait!!

I know I also filed at VSC and they approved an expedite process for me and I have heard nothing yet! but we keep praying and calling! and emailing also I wont give up! so u dont give up either! we r in the same boat

I WAITED FOR 8 MONTH TOO,JUST GOT APPROVED ON FRIDAY,IM SO HAPPY,IT WORTH WAITING, BE STRONG YOU WILL GET YOUR APPROVAL SOON.

YES WE DID SO THEY HAD TO KNOW WHAT IS DELAYING THE APPROVAL,TRY USING ONE ,IT MIGHT BE OF HELP OK TAKECARE

I am sorry it has taken so long for you 7 months is well above the average and if you haven't had an RFE I would say almost too long.

The only advice I can offer is to keep calling; one person may tell you one date and the next day you might get another; try to ask to speak to someone who is "level 2" or a supervisor and ask for a reference number for your calls if they can give you one, so you know you are being taken seriously; also talk to your congressman.

Yes, agree. Amazing what happens when the person picking up the phone has to take some personal responsibility that might come back to bite them later on if they get it wrong or don't give sufficient assistance.
