I am beneficiary. My parents never used their last name in any of their certificates or document. They only use their frst & middle names. So this is how filled their name in G-325A form too, only first name and last name. My birth certificate also shows just their name & middle name. do you think this can cause problem.

If you have to show your parents legal name do you have documentation that it is first and middle name. In other words if you submit your birth certificate or another document, I believe you should use your parents name shown there. Is this common in your country where people use only their first and middle name on documents?

Thanks for your reply. All I had is their Educational certificate and copy of their passports. It is not common now but it was very common in their time. Thismy is how their parents registerd their name and my parents never tried to change it.

You'll be fine. USCIS understands quite a lot about places around the world and are equipped to deal with various naming conventions.
