Delay or stalling K-1 process

Received NOA2 Feb 1st, valid until May 30th. I need to take a contract job in Antarctica (still considered a US job) until October to raise money so I was going to delay sending packet 3 (?) until close to the May 30th deadline. As I understand it packet 4 follows? Is there a time limit on that also? If so, I will stall in sending that also. Then hope I can delay the interview until October when I return to the US, perhaps by canceling the first interview as somebody suggested. Does this seem possible to stall for so long?

Also, we have child together if that helps our situation at all.

thanks in advance!

Having a child doesn't make a difference. Packet 4 is the interview letter and information on what to bring to the interview. You can try stalling that long but you will have to contact the embassy and speak to them about it. If you do not speak to them they will just call your case abandoned when you do not contact them.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I am a Citizen of the United States of America. 04/16/13

Hi there'

There's nothing like sending packet 3 and 4 at the Nairobi embassy, you'll have to present those packets on the day of your interview however i'd advise you to keep in contact with the embassy so they don't think that you abandoned the petition.Am assuming you're from Uganda because all immigrant visa applicants from Uganda go through Nairobi embassy

@ Dorah28: Just to clarify, I am the American petitioner. Will I have to go to Nairobi to present those forms or can my Ugandan fiancee do this on her own? Thank you.
