I was really wrong about my prediction about me getting approved this week  oh well there is always 2 more days and the weeks after that

Im starting to feel the same way. I will be at five months on Monday and the frustration is only getting worse especially since CSC is supposed to be a little ahead of schedule.

Hello guys!

and to Tbakke125125, remember I posted this?

Posted 07 March 2012 - 01:54 AM

kinkyara, on 06 March 2012 - 09:50 PM, said:

Thanks a lot!

=]

And also, when my fiance received the NOA1 hardcopy,

it was dated Feb. 20, 2012 and they misspelled my name,

my fiance called them immediately to correct it

and they said to wait for 15 days to mail the corrected version,

so do we still have the same NOA1 date?

Yes the NOA1 date will be the same, they will just correct your misspelled name. I know there are a lot of questions, but feel free to ask!!

Here's an update about our case,

we had another NOA1 hard copy dated March 14, 2012.

I was hoping we still had the original NOA1 hard copy which was dated feb.20,2012

so I started counting from that date...

But until now we don't have NOA2 yet,

so I guess I have to adjust my timeline now and wait a little more for NOA 2.

whew! this is so stressing!

February 16, 2012 filer with March 14, 2012 NOA1!

Feb 13, 2012 - I-129F Sent
Feb 16, 2012 - NVC Received
Feb 20, 2012 - NOA1 Hardcopy (With beneficiary's misspelled name)

Mar 14, 2012 - NOA1 Hardcopy (Corrected)
Jul 12, 2012 - NOA2 Approved (e-mail)
Jul 16, 2012 - NOA2 Hardcopy
Jul 23, 2012 - NVC Received
Aug 28, 2012 - USEM Interview (Approved)
Sep 3, 2012 - Visa Received
Sep 23, 2012 - POE SFO
Nov 24, 2012 - TIED THE KNOT!!!

March 27, 2013 - AOS Approved!

July 15, 2015 - 10-year GC Approved!!

GREAT news.

NVC received my package today.

It took almost a month (23 days) but it is FINALLY there.

If you have a NOA2 date around mine and you're from CSC, you may want to give them a call today.

Hi, congrats on NVC!!! Did you have a "touch" indidcated on your USCIS case on or around the day NVC received your file? Still no file at NVC for us...Call today and they recommended emailing them, so I did that.

I'm gonna hold out. Looking at the January thread, it looks like the congress people haven't been able to help much with them, so I doubt we'll be a priority yet.

So, here's a question for everyone: when your honey is finally in the US and you get married, are you planning a honeymoon? If so, where?

We are going to honeymoon right in our home as we just finished a complete remodel and it is right on the water. I don't need to go further than where my Honey is for the honeymoon.. possibly we will also go play at Disney World for a few days....

That sounds wonderful, Terri! I'm hoping that we'll find a place on the water too (if we decide to rent instead of buy... if we buy, it'll probably be right in St. Pete). Disney World is probably in the cards for us as well... I know my girls were thinking about taking me there for my bachelorette party, but I also really want to visit with Tom, so that we can wear the cheesy bride and groom Mickey ears :) It's been a dream of mine ever since I first saw them! haha.
