So the good news is Rob officially got a job. He is supposed to start next Monday! The bad news is his EAD still hasn't arrived. The USPS tracking suggested it should have arrived yesterday as it was sitting the holding facility not to far from my house, but it didn't come. My postal carrier has the tendency to be really bad about delivering mail to the right people. I'm really, really hoping it arrives today, otherwise I'll be very concerned.

I believe after he starts his job he has 3 days to show them unless the employer gives him more time on his word it is coming. He just can't get paid officially without them seeing it.

YAY! I was told previously that I would need my GC in order to change my last name on my SS card as I got it in my maiden name before we had the marriage certificate...just went to chance it with the EAD card and bingo! I will have my married SS card next week :dance: Next step...driving test!

I just changed it with my marriage certificate.

Worried now, I sent out AOS packet two weeks ago tomorrow and still no text/e-mail message or NOA1....

Promised myself I would not obsess over AOS but I would just like to know it is in the system....

It took me over 3 weeks to get a text and letter for NOA1 of AOS. Don't worry too much :)
