I had my visa interview 3 and a half weeks ago. Was approved but still waiting on my passport and visa to arrive in the mail.

Because of an error the CBP officer made on my I-94 and exhausting my patience trying to get some info from anyone at USCIS, I booked an Info Pass for this morning. Found out if you have an I-797 to go with a pending I-102 you can still and should put in the package for the AOS. Whew. Felt much better. I still can't apply for my SSN or register my car or get my CT license but at least I will be moving in the right direction.

Hope things are moving along for those waiting for news on anything.

Thanks! Received a call from the Oslo embassy today (had my interview in Stockholm, as Oslo doesn't have an IV unit) that they had my visa package. The CO forgot to have me sign DS-230 part 2. The hold up was Stockholm sending the case to Oslo for in-person signing. Internal embassy mail happens to always be routed via Washington DC.

Hey guys...quick question...we were told in Hawaii that our wedding cerficate could take a couple of months to arrive, however we could go online and print our temporary one which we have done. Any idea if that will do for the AOS??? Anyone else had this or is it just Hawaii time we're dealing with!!!

They might ask for a certified copy. So it depends on the print out you get, it might say certified on it. For us, we actually went to the court house to drop in the completed paperwork rather than send it in and they gave us our certified copies while we were there.

Part 1 - Family Name - I put my married name right?

"A#" - Is this the "Annotation" number on the VISA in my passport?

Part 3 - Nonimmigrant Visa Number - is this the "Control Number" on the VISA?

Part 5 - I sign my married name right?!

The G325A and I-765 for has a spot for maiden name, but I think that's it. (I didn't bother with the I-131)

Yes and yes the control number is the nonimmigrant visa number and the Annotation should be the alien number (A number), this should be the same number as the one on the NOA2.

took social security it will come in the mail took marriage license yesterday and will go marry at court (prob going to have a wedding later) so when that comes or while its coming im going to be filing out the aos ,ead, and permit to leave and come back!!!

so i have a questions i know i mail it together but do i mail it in the same evelope and everything on 1 check like the total which is like 2000 something dollars???? can someone message me the answer please!!

Mail it together and the check is for $1070 - the fees for the I-131 and I-765 don't apply, so you just pay the $985 and $85 biometrics on the same check.
