Was it a simple RFE? Mine was simple and I got approved around 2 weeks. Hopefully you will have similar fortune.

I did submit photos, but they wanted me to put in handwritting on the back of each photo the date and place as a part of a proof of having met in person. In addition to photos, I sent them passport stamps with entry/exit stamps through Cairo Airport, my itinerary and my boarding passes. I wish to get my NOA2 soooon after all these proofs.

Sid's interview is Friday as well! Wish I knew the time...heehee! How far is Julian from Knightsbridge? Sid has a 2 hour train journey ahead of him. Our paperwork went in yesterday and hope it's a short wait from medical to interview date! Now we just debating between a November or January wedding date...it never ends.

My package has been received at Montreal (as of last Thursday or Friday, I think) ... they're just REALLY slow at logging and sending out Packet 3 Tom's gonna call again today and see if Packet 3 has been sent out yet...

We actually aren't planning on sending back Packet 3 until next week anyway (Tom has his affidavit of support backup and letter of intent that he's just going to bring with him on the plane on Thursday, instead of fedex-ing it to me) so hopefully it's sent out by then, so that we can ship out our paperwork on Thursday as soon as he gets here!

I have a question on I-134 form. On section 8 where it's asking if the dependent person whom I support will be totally dependednt Or partially dependent: what is the appropriate answer for that question?

Protesters are surrounding the U.S. Embassy at my fiancee' country, Egypt. They suspended all work, including visa issuings, for 3 days now and they'll keep so until the situation is handled. I hope the situation will be controlled by the time our application reach there, which we don't know when yet. Lord have mercy.

I heard about that. I hope everything calms down soon. I heard that all the US embassies are on high alert, particularly in some of the regions that aren't exactly pro-America. The US embassy in Berlin was evacuated today because an embassy worker had breathing difficulties after handling an Albanian passport.

Just called the NVC and they already have our application! I can't believe it! It's been exactly a week! The lady I spoke to was very nice, said that they needed to work on it before it's sent out to the embassy, but that it should probably be done by Monday.

Can I ask you guys - I saw some people looking at DHL numbers and their estimated arrivals? How did you guys do that? Where do I go to find those?

Medical form code? Do you mean medical forms? All consulates are different in the way things are done and how the medicals are done. Here you can find the details for Egypt...

Do you or your partner to be have children? They would be dependents that you'd support as an example. If there are none, just answer it by saying 'None'.
