Seriously what is going on ??? I had my NOA1 on the 24th February 2012 ???

Can anyone shed anything on these delays, anyone been approved in and around my date ? Is it my application, could something be wrong ??

Any light on this would be great.

Nope, you're just in the VSC vortex like many other February filers. They've been moving very slowly, and there are still people before you who haven't been approved yet. Hang out with our group, though. It's a great place to vent and share your excitement when you do finally get your NOA2!

It's just so frustrating, i honestly thought i'd be in the country by October when I first submitted!!

Feel so demoralised and this wait makes me think I wont get approved for some reason!!

Well, the good news is the stuff after the NOA2 goes really fast. You might not make it by October, but should you get the NOA2 this month, November is very realistic.

Some of us are watching the receipt numbers and USCIS activity... so far, Feb 22nd - 24th stats look like this:

What date did USCIS receive your petition according to your case status page?

well the day isnt over hopefully tomorrow morning when i check it it came. we will see.

No probs :) I have our LDN number, but I read something that said it's best not to arrange the medical until you know the embassy has received the packet from NVC, to avoid confusion? So I've been holding off until I know that. - However, I'm tempted to just call up and see about booking it.

Yeah I read somewhere that you can book your medical once you have your LDN number and that people have gone ahead once they know their petition is making its merry way to London! I might call the doctor and ask what kind of wait there is or if you can get in pretty much next day. Altho it would be nice to book a flight down from Scotland at a weeks notice rather than next day but right now...i'd pay next day prices if it saves us time!!!

It'll come when you least expect it...like ours did on a Sunday night!! :yes: Quite a few received on Feb 24th/NOA1 on Feb 28th were approved on the 17th. I don't understand for a moment the method in the madness that occurs at VSC and know that we are extremely blessed to have ours approved but you can take hope from that...it IS coming...any day now :thumbs:
