Yeah and though I'm happy for them, they are also way after my date. That's when it really sucks, when you start seeing folks after you get approved. Tomorrow AM I'm on the phone and calling USCIS. They better be prepared because I'll be calling every dang day until I get approved.

He's from England, I'm from US. It's not rocket science nor are background checks an excuse. girlwerewolf2xn.gif

Of the 50 petitions I'm tracking, only half have had any movement. That's just not good enough in my book.

So, even though Igor's List was only showing 2 approvals today, here is what I could see. Some of these may have been in a previous update: sorry.

Feb. 2: 1 approval, 2 RFEs yesterday / 1 RFE today

Feb. 7: 2 approvals, 3 RFEs yesterday / 1 approval today

Feb. 8: 3 approvals yesterday / 2 approvals, 2 RFEs today

Feb. 13: 1 approval today

Feb. 14: 1 approval today

Here's where it gets weird. It looks like they tripped over a box of Feb. 21 petitions and thought, what the heck, let's look at these.

Feb. 21: 5 approvals yesterday / 20 approvals today

I am so bewildered.

Especially since one of them was ours. I was really not expecting this at all, because we were so very, very, very far from being "next in line." I feel bad being happy. So mostly I am shocked and incredulous. But...yay?

Applications from May find their way through while applications from January gather dust. Where is the justice? Why do we have no voice?

Why invite people to live in our country predisposed to believing that the system works against them?

Ah well, maybe I am just being dramatic. It will all be OK in the end, I suppose.

You want some wacky dates just look at the CSC approvals on Igor's:

They go from end of January to the middle of May. What did they do? Throw the petitions up in the air and approve them as they fluttered to the ground?

No worries Vermont, just skip over the 2nd week of February, no problem.....

I was planning on moving to Vermont with my fiance, but after this experience, I don't even want to hear the word Vermont spoken ever again. Tomorrow is day 180 and not a damn word.

afoyoswa congratulations on your approval :)

Thank you! Not expecting euphoria over my announcement since I know I've been far from euphoric over some other untimely announcements I've seen, so thanks for noticing.

To be fair, I don't have any receipt #s between Feb. 8 and Feb. 13, so it is impossible for me to find approvals within that timeframe. If you have a receipt # I can try to build a set of numbers from, let me know and I will try! My set of petitions that I am watching is in no way representative of the entire month.
