Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that...September is a lovely time for a wedding We were planning a Thanksgiving Day wedding, but with having to try and get an interview in London with all the Olympic #######, we're thinking even that is a bit too close. I hope you manage to rearrange everything so you both can still have the wedding of your dreams! This is just brutal and I swear if we survive this, we can survive anything. We just want to be able to make a few plans for our lives - he needs to give notice at work and the like and I don't USCIS should keep interfering with that! :ranting:

Now I will go read the poor January filers thread to remind myself not to whine too much asthere are still peeps waiting a lot longer than I.

Our NOA2 dates are only a day apart so we are in the same boat!!

Ok, So I think I have been patient long enough. Ha ha ha. When I leave to go home at the end of August I will have been here for my 6 months. Well I had to go back home to take care of some business in April. We truly thought we would see our approval by now. We also have been setting into place wedding plans. We have had our JP on speed dial since last summer. We have all the wedding attire purchased, final fitting for me this morning. Flower girl dresses stuffed into wardrobe. It seems because this has taken longer than anticipated (Including the last petition last year) My Matron of Honor can't make it. Her husband was going to be our photographer.

But seriously when VSC gets going I think they will fly. I am not sure what the huge delay is this time as it is normal to see this stop/start progress. This is not the same or close to it as last year. Why doesn't anyone care about the lives affected by their non work (ok not really a fair statement as I know they are working, just not on K1's). If you need more people then hire them. Cripes all mighty.. " Let's Get her done....

ok sorry for the rant.... There are still 4 more days of this week....

GO VSC GO........ U Kin Do It........

Terri

I am having a ROUGH week.

On Sunday, I was involved in a car accident (I wasn't driving)... A guy in a stolen SUV ended up hitting 4 cars (ours was the last one, so there was barely any damage, and no injuries, thankfully), and then taking off and running away ON FOOT.

Now today, my MacBook mysteriously developed a crack in the bottom of the screen, and I can't close it anymore. (And I use my laptop for work, so I have to carry it back and forth from the office... it probably won't survive too much longer)

I also told Tom I'd buy his plane ticket up here for our Jack and Jill party in September...

so that means I am going to have to dish out A LOT of cash in the next few days/weeks :(
