Received the NOIR, and am working on organizing our package. I am including chat with the proofs as this was the only thing the consulate had asked for during the interview. Of course I am sending proof to counter each point the CO gave for denial. I have thousands of pages of chat and texts, how do I decide what to put in? It is so overwhelming. The NOIR wants to see interactions between us before engagement, after engagement, after first denial, before and after marriage, and after second denial. Nothing has changed. We speak/text/chat almost every single day since the day we met. I have house phone/cell phone/Icall/Googlevoice calls for the past 2 years. I can't find our phone records for the first year, but figured our chat logs would be enough. Do I send a log for each day? Or best to have whole conversations included? This is making me sick today

I just responded to our NOIR and I only had phone cards about 100 of them and text messages and emails from 2008 so that they can see we have been interacting with each other from 2008 until now. I am waiting for them to respond. They say wait 60 days, but people I have talked to says it only takes about 21 days before they respond. So I have high hopes.

You need to print the entire conversations that are substantive, prepare like you are going before a federal judge. Good luck!

Relax, breath and be smart. Try not to be emotional. Put on a Lawyer's hat and collect your evidence to prove what you have been saying all along.

Now is your time and opportunity. You have many people rooting for you and here for advice. Relax, breath and be smart. :star:

Do it as a timeline, collect strong evidence through out the reelationship as they requested. Thank God you have them.

You can do this!

We included everything, even very personal conversations on chat. We had a lawyer handle our NOIR. Our petition was reaffirmed 4 days after they recieved it. We have our 2nd interview Feb 16.

The format should be similar to a book with a index. Make it as easy as possible for the adjucator to find everything.

Here is just a small sample

10. Written correspondence evidence:

a. Petitioner’s letters  Beneficiary: From January 2010 to August 2011.

b. Beneficiary’s letters  Petitioner: From January 2010 to May 2011.

c. Petitioner’s emails  Beneficiary: From November 2009 to September 2011.

d. Beneficiary’s emails  Petitioner: From November 2009 to September 2011.

e. Petitioner and Beneficiary’s chat logs: From November 2009 to May 2010.

Best of luck to you

I agree with 4ever mine, it has to be substantive to support what you have said all along. Hints I found useful from other members, don't give them any chats where you fight especially not about religion. Another red flag is professing love too early so we did not provide anything conversations where we spoke about relationship or complimented each other, we kept those to ourselves. I did however, give them a copy of the email when we decided to become engaged. It had been about 6 months into our courtship. I am sure like most conversations are very extensive so I chose some that had substance and we cut them off did not submit the entire conversation just those that lended themselved to proving a bonafide relationship. If you speak to him in any language other than English make sure it is translated to English, yes I know someone who gave them all the chats in another language. Include chats where where you spoke to his family. This was something the CO focused on with my husband's second interview. He kept asking if I got along with the family. I gave them pics I took during EID and the other visits I made with the immediate and extended family. I chose to establish a relationship with his sister and mom outside of him and I gave them emails where we conversed. They took a liking to my husband's cat and most would think who cares but it was the ice breaker the CO with the beard was laughing and asking about the cat. My kids also spoke to my husband when I was not home so I provided a few of those chats as well..

Good Luck, I completely understand the frustrations doing the chats is a process in itself....

I know what you mean about leaving out some things in chat. I didn't include our disagreements in our K1 petition, but I put everything else. This backfired, as they saw how hard and fast we moved in the beginning. Oh, how naive we were back then....Hubby and I were actually reading our very early chats tonight, and couldn't stop laughing at ourselves. We don't want to put those in, but I guess I'm afraid since I did put those in back in 2009, that maybe they will wonder why they aren't there now. I am probably making this a bigger deal than it should be. I come from "you can't show too much", but the CO proved that wrong the first time around. This is why I did nothing but the basics in our I 130 in 2010. Hubby brought all other evidence with him to the second interview, except chat records, since the CO had such a problem with them the first time. And guess what, they specifically wanted to see chat during the second interview, and we didn't have them. This is what is making me crazy :bonk: But there is some great advice here, and I thank you all for taking the time to help me out. THIS WILL BE OUR YEAR DAMN IT!!

Put everything in that you can, to prove your relationship. Don't worry about overloading, this is the time to do it. Make sure you have something from each of you professing your love for each other, future plans, anything you can think of. Our letters (for the RFE) were four or five pages long, and the attorney put those first, in front of everything else in our response packet, so that shows how significant they were. We both put our heart and soul into those letters. Put a detailed table of contents and make sure it's organized, and easy to look through. Family is very important, so make sure you include anything and everything that shows interaction with them. I'm not sure what the NOIR states, but I'm just giving you advice from our experience. I wish you the best of luck and hope your husband will be here with you soon;)

I just wanted to add that the RFE didn't ask for letters from us, we chose to add them to our response packet.
