Getting CR-1 stuff together...

My wife and I are getting all of our forms together to send off and get the process of getting her and her 10 year old son to the States and we have a few questions.

Do we need a I-130 for both my wife and her son?

Do we need a G-325 for both my wife and her son?

I have gone through the filing fees and could not find a fee associated with the G-325. Is that correct? My calculation for the initial package is $840 ($420 for each I-130).

I am sure this is probably just the first batch of questions we will have as we assemble everything, but have to start somewhere.

Thanks in advance!

You'll find the actual I-130 instructions invaluable and critical to your eventual success.

I-130 for each intending immigrant but only G325a forms for you and your spouse. You have the filing fees correct. Yes, you have to start somewhere. That somewhere is by clicking on the word "Guides" at the top of any page here. Second, carefully study the I-130 instructions. Third, ask remaining questions here.
