Congrats Jeannie and Al! And thanks all :). I phoned Knightsbridge today and they confirmed they haven't sent any medical results to the Embassy yet, and that sometimes they just book the interviews if they know the medical will be done before or something. She said if I haven't heard from them by end of day Monday, then assume it's all good and they'll courier them to the Embassy within 4 working days so it'll be there in plenty of time.

In response to the other question - I didn't e-mail London at all; I put on my cover letter that I want to formally request that my USC fiance be allowed to attend the interview with me, and asked if they could reply to that e-mail address to confirm it is ok. They replied to the e-mail address today saying it's ok and my interview is for 3rd September at 9am D=. Funnily enough, we were looking at going to London for 30th August for something else so we'll most likely just stay over the weekend and come back Tuesday after the interview.

I know, seriously. Everyone on here has been panicking about delays at London because of the new system, taking 3 months to get an interview etc, and they've sent me an appointment 2 weeks after receiving our Packet 3 response before they've even had my medical results and responded to the e-mail I asked them to, and the interview is inside a month.

I don't blame you..maybe a lot of people put August dates and they felt they had a bit more time for your date? judging by Queen's date of 9/3, I hope that means you will hear in the next couple of days as maybe they are scheduling interviews around that time. I'm thinking 9/2 the Embassy is closed for Labor Day ..maybe you can send an inquiry mid week if you don't hear - to the email address maybe?

I'm really hoping I'll hear something Monday or Tuesday. But my plan was to start pestering on Wednesday if I've still not had any news.

If I end up interviewing in late September, we will have to push the wedding back to December. Which will be a bummer, but not the end of the world I suppose. :/

that sounds like a good plan, :)..all your results have been in and ready and I'm sure they can get you in within a few weeks to still be able to fly early September..will keep my fingers crossed you hear before you have to start pestering :)

My Fiance received packet 3 today so the priority date and 4 month time means we have to submit all our documents and they must have our medical ready to interview before that time (4 months). If that time passes, and we are waiting for them to contact us... then they can extend it? Correct? Is there a return address on the letter my Fiance is asleep and I forgot to ask him... Send to?

Laura Clare, I'm sure you'll hear something soon. I had to wait over a month to get an interview date. I did put a time period I wanted to get married in but that doesn't look as though that will happen but QueenofBlades heard pretty soon after. I think it's quite random at the moment. It's easier to say now I have my own date but please try not to worry. Could you research more wedding dresses to help ease the stress of waiting? ;)

I think it is pretty random. I only put on my cover letter that I wanted my fiance to come with me. I never mentioned any wedding date or fly out date or anything. Perhaps they might have assumed he was only staying for a certain period of time, like a couple of months or something. Not sure.
