Hello! Im new here and fairly confused! I have a lot of questions, please bear with me.... :)

My fiance in New Jersey recieved our NOA2 last Friday 90 days after filing. The letter doesnt really say much in all honesty. No real instructions on what to do next. Its my understanding that I call the Vermont Centre now in around 2 weeks to check they have our file and get our case number yes? They will then send the package to the London Embassy who will then contact me?

Now heres where Im getting confused. My fiance has to send me a copy of the original I-129f package including all the originals. Do the orignals mean things like birth certificate etc? I have colour copies of all those things.

The I-134 Affdavit of Support is being filled out by his parents as my fiance is unemployed. Do both his parents need to fill this out or just the main wage earner who earns the 6 figure salary? Also, does my finace have to fill one out even though hes unemployed but it the petitioner?

My next step is to apply for my Police certificate which I take to my medical. Is this right?

Last but not least, I and fill out forms DS156K, DS156 and DS230 and send them to the London Embassy when contacted as theyve received our case?

I apologise for all the questions but my head is swimming with information and Ive gotten myself into a muddle with everything. I just want to get this right.

You will get a letter from the Embassy soon, you don't need to contact Vermont. If you have the NOA2, then Vermont visa center already has your file.

Once you get your letter from London, it'll have your London specific case number, which means you can then go ahead and book the medical. And yep - you need to take the police cert. to the medical. They take a photocopy of it, and hand the original back to you.

Hi! Sorry I don't have any answers to your original questions, but congratulations for receiving your NOA2 so quickly! As a fellow US/UK filer, I'm hoping I get mine quickly as well. Did you request an expedite or anything? Do you have any guesses as to why yours was completed so quickly? :D

Glad you finally signed up! Welcome! Yup, You should get a letter from London shortly. Remember your Fiance needs to send you some documentation as well so, as always, make sure you've got a good backup. Asda PhotoMe points do the Visa Photographs for £7, you get 4 (others have reported 5!) if you need them!.

Hi! We didnt do anything other than submit and wait. I thought it would be another month for sure but we seem to have picked up quickly. I hope yours is speedy too!

Photomile - I saw a Photo-Me machine in Asda by work so thats super handy for me.

Ok. Ive received a letter from the embassy now. I gather this is my "packet 3" even though its just a letter right? I applied for my police certificate yesterday. Does anyone know how long that takes? Should I wait until I have it before I book my medical? So many questions again but an info anyone can give me would be great. :)
